My Approach

My goal is always to interrupt the patterns that overwhelm and disconnect my clients. Then, they can move forward, empowered and engaged, guided by their authentic desires.

Awareness alone cannot change a pattern familiar to our bodymind. Those patterns developed for a reason. Your bodymind is full of wisdom that helps you meet your needs and cultivate safety. Without recognizing that wisdom, we can’t see the need. Without understanding the need, we lose context for the pattern. Without context, inherited, often detrimental, narratives make sense of the pattern instead.

This is typically where I meet my clients: You are stuck in patterns you know are disconnecting, but you don’t know how to step out of them.

My role is to walk alongside you to interrupt the pattern

  • I start with compassionate curiosity. You help me understand where you are, and I help you to identify the resilience and strengths you already have.

  • I help you thank your bodymind for protecting you throughout your life and give you tools to resist the shame of being imperfect.

  • From a place of understanding and self-compassion, it becomes possible to slow down and listen to the need behind the pattern. It also becomes possible to notice the ways you’re already moving toward healing.

  • From there, you can develop a new way to meet your bodyminds’ needs: A way rooted in love rather than shame.

  • Through this loving approach, you can develop new ways of being that recognize and honor your humanness. You can live a life led by your own values and desires.
